The professional ÜLKA carbide drill bit in a needle shape (2.3 mm head diameter, 15.0 mm length) is engineered from ultra-durable premium tungsten carbide (HRA 95%). The blue band indicates medium grit, providing a perfect combination of rapid material removal and gentle treatment. It is specifically designed for milling away gel and acrylic liftings, clearing product residue after polymerization, thinning product underneath the nail, and navigating tight, hard-to-reach areas. The rounded safe tip eliminates sharp contact, reducing the risk of damaging the natural nail, which makes it ideal for both professional nail technicians and beginners.

Hygiene & Sterilization Maintenance:

1. Disinfection: Submerge into an appropriate disinfectant solution immediately after use. Choose premium-grade agents designated for metal instruments.

2. Ultrasonic Cleaning: Clear trapped product debris from the flutes using the ÜLKA Pulse ultrasonic tank. For fast pre-sterilization drying, run the drying cycle (80°C for 30 minutes) inside the Jupiter 10V dry heat sterilizer.

3. Dry Heat Sterilization: Place fully dried bits inside kraft pouches and process them in the ÜLKA Mercury 2V or Jupiter 10V dry heat sterilizer at 160–180°C.

4. Handling: Store in a dry, clean place. Avoid dropping the bit, as tungsten carbide teeth can chip from hard physical impact and the shank can become misaligned.
