ÜLKA Diamond Flame Nail Drill Bit Long (2.3 x 10.0 mm) – Red Band

The professional ÜLKA diamond drill bit in a long flame shape (2.3 mm diameter, 10.0 mm length) is engineered for hyper-precise and delicate cuticle work. The red band indicates a soft/fine grit, making this bit ideal for clients with thin, sensitive skin or close capillaries. Its extended length allows the technician to gently slide into the proximal nail fold, safely clear away pterygium, clean the lateral sinuses, and prep the skin surface for final polishing without creating nail friction or tracking.

Technical Specifications:

  • Shape: Long Flame

  • Grit Type: Soft / Fine (Red band)

  • Head Diameter: 2.3 mm

  • Head Length: 10.0 mm

Care & Hygiene Rules:

  1. Disinfection: Submerge into an appropriate disinfectant immediately after use. Choose premium-grade solutions specialized for metal instruments.

  2. Ultrasonic Cleaning: Flush skin debris out of the micro-gaps using the ÜLKA Pulse ultrasonic tank. For optimal pre-sterilization prep, use the drying mode (80°C for 30 min) in the Jupiter 10V unit.

  3. Sterilization: Once fully dry, place the bits inside kraft pouches and cycle them through ÜLKA Mercury 2V or Jupiter 10V dry heat sterilizers at 160–180°C.

  4. Handling: Store in a dry, clean place. Avoid dropping the bit, as any physical shock can cause rotation offset and micro-motor damage.
