The professional ÜLKA diamond drill bit in a rounded cylinder shape (3.0 mm head diameter, 10.0 mm length) is a multi-tasking, medium-grit tool for hardware manicure and pedicure. The blue band indicates a medium abrasiveness, making it ideal for working with normal, rough, or calloused skin. The rounded tip eliminates sharp edges, drastically reducing the risk of damaging the proximal nail fold or nail plate. This universal bit is highly effective for trimming and smoothing the cuticles, clearing lateral sinuses, removing stubborn hangnails, shaping the free edge, and treating small cracks or minor calluses during podiatry procedures.

Disinfection & Hygiene Standards:

1. Disinfection: Submerge the bits in a professional disinfectant solution immediately after use. Choose premium cleaners suitable for metal alloys to protect the diamond coating.

2. Ultrasonic Cleaning: Use the ÜLKA Pulse ultrasonic cleaning tank to flush organic dust trapped in micro-grooves. To speed up the preparation process, dry the tools in the Jupiter 10V dry heat sterilizer on the drying cycle (80°C for 30 minutes).

3. Dry Heat Sterilization: When fully dry, place the bits into kraft pouches and sterilize them in the ÜLKA Mercury 2V or Jupiter 10V unit at 160–180°C.

4. Storage: Keep the bits stored in a dry, dust-free place. Avoid drops and physical shocks, as a bent shank will unbalance the rotation and damage your handpiece micromotor.
